My name is Michael Schilling and I am a BOC certified athletic trainer. I have been an athletic trainer since January 2012. During my time as an athletic trainer I have been fortunate enough to work with athletes from the high school level all the way up to the professional level. I have been taught functional rehabilitation from some of the best Physical Therapist and Doctors in the Nation. I have also attended courses and seminars on functional rehabilitation given by elite Physical Therapist. It is my personal philosophy and goal to share my knowledge and help athletes of all ages reduce their risk of injury. I know that it is not possible for me to not have any of my athletes get injured but when it does I want them to return to the game bigger, faster and stronger than before the injury.
As an athletic trainer it is important to stay up to date with the most current research in the field. I personally like to use functional rehabilitation and strengthening. Using the technology that is available now it is easy to stay on top of an always changing world. With journals and sites that the NATA provide I hope that I can stay on top of this information to better my athletes both on and off the field.
Please feel free to contact me for more information regarding my background.
